Increase conversions through behavioural tracking smarts

Vodafone Hutchison Australia (VHA)
CHALLENGE

Prior to engagement with Alpha Salmon, Vodafone operated an eCommerce site that turned over 4-5 handset sales per month.

Vodafone wanted to deliver a solution that compete well with its competitors and was aimed at achieving 3 major goals:

1) Quick and first to market on handset plans
2) Reduce on-going online operation overhead
3) Convert customers

SOLUTION

Alpha Salmon provided a completely new solution to address the key goals. Alpha CMS was the CMS platform introduced to Vodafone for its unique feature in user friendliness to attract buy-ins from content editors who will frequently be updating content in the most effective manner. Once the operators of the system approve of the platform, Alpha Salmon was able to deliver a rest of the system that met the key goals.

The content was later updated with the Alpha Data platform to support publishers, media banners, and downstream CRM systems, the platform helped Vodafone to automate the facilities to reduce overhead cost.

RESULT

The result is a seamless online experience that has significantly increased the weekly sales of handset and plans online. The site attracts over 75,000 unique visitors a week and performs at an exponentially lifted conversion rates.
