Unilever :: ‘Ayo Indonesia Bisa’
CHALLENGE

  • Unilever wanted to create a digital campaign to support Indonesia Team in SEA Games 2011
  • The campaign is for Indonesian people showing their support for Indonesian sports team during the game
  • To create a digital execution at the core of the campaign that can reach the mass population

WHAT WE DID

  • Working in partnership with Mindshare, we created a website which became the core portal supporters went to in order to spur on their teams
  • Supporters could show their support by creating, uploading and sharing cheers and words of encouragement through the website
  • All formats of photo, video, audio and text were enabled during the campaign to obtain maximum messaging to spur on the Indonesian athletes
  • Worked together with Google, Yahoo and media vendors to amplify the campaign from digital space which reached 50 million people during the campaign
  • Created viral social media exposure

RESULT

  • Over 15 Million supports achieved within one month (7 times the initial target)
  • Over 10,000 cheers and messages were sent via the website
  • Through social media the campaign resonated to fans making it the most visited website during the campaign period
