  • Malaysia Kitchen wanted to create a campaign to promote Malaysian cuisine in terms their availability and increasing awareness of Malaysian food and restaurants throughout Australia.
  • Invited 13 food bloggers to submit their weekly Malaysian food and restaurant reviews onto the site.
  • The top 3 foodies with the most 'votes' across all weekly posts win a place in a foodie's trip to Malaysia.

WHAT WE DID

  • Working with Ogilvy360 Digital Influence and OgilvyPR team in Sydney, Alpha Salmon delivered an on-brand design consistent with the corporate branding.
  • Delivered a WordPress solution for easy content management of foodie bios, food & restaurant reviews
  • Connected with social media and integrated to Facebook 'like' features for voting
  • Built additional WordPress functionalities for user comments

RESULT

  • Increased Australians' awareness of Malaysian cuisine as a first step towards increasing bi-lateral relationship and trading between Malaysia and Australia.
  • Malaysia Kitchen Blogger Summit went viral through the foodie's own blogs to drive around 2,000 visitors and "likes" each week
