Dell Indonesia:: Unyu-unyu Campaign
CHALLENGE

  • Dell wants to increase their Facebook fans through their online engagement
  • Online competition has been selected to increase and interact with the existing  fan base
  • Create a viral element to the fans and increase the exposure of Dell online

WHAT WE DID

  • Working in partnership with MediaCom Indonesia, Dell's Media partner, Alpha Salmon developed the social media campaign to increase social media members 
  • Created a Facebook App that allows user to upload photos of their social group into the competition
  • The user is able to tag and share these pictures with their friends
  • Users are able to vote on the best social group photos
  • Leaderboard table was created to encourage fans to invite more friends to vote for their submissions to win in the competition

RESULT

  • The campaign ran for 2 weeks and attracted 500 new fans
  • Greater awareness for Dell through Facebook with more than 15,000 votes registered
