Climate Change - Awareness campaign
Department of Climate Change:: Shout Out
CHALLENGE
Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency and Ogilvy Earth wanted to create a campaign that drives awareness of the issues of climate change to young people in Australia. The campaign gives tertiary, secondary and primary students a creative platform to inform, engage and inspire others to discover more about climate change and take action.
SOLUTION
Alpha Salmon had the opportunity to participate and create this exciting campaign for Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency. The importance of this project was the submission process that allowed for online uploading of the creative work by students of all ages.
The Alpha CMS platform was deployed for this solution with an reporting function that allowed DCCEE and Ogilvy staff to view entries and judge. The website also integrated with social network sites to share, as well as offering a powerful voting engine for people's choice entries.
RESULT
There have been numerous submissions to the competition. Shortlised videos to the competition are due to announce in the coming weeks.
